As one of the most popular productivity apps, Google Workspace plays an essential part in many workflows. The issue with their service is that companies are not sure how to cancel their account.
If you want to cancel your subscription, go to your Google Admin console (also known as “G Admin”), log in and select “Subscriptions” on the left.
Choose “Billing” and then “Subscriptions.” Choose the subscription you wish to cancel. Click “Cancel My Subscription”.
After deleting Google Workspace, you will no longer have access to core Google Workspace services, such as Gmail, Calendar, Meet, and more.
You will still have access to additional Google services, such as YouTube, Google Photos, and Google Ads. If you have Cloud Identity, you will still have access to specific core Google Workspace services, such as Google Drive and Docs.
If you keep your Google account, you can still subscribe to Google Workspace. It will be too late to get back your user accounts, groups, and organizational units if you don’t. You’ll have to wait until after 84 days – that’s when the cancellation process is completed.
With that in mind, you can always reinstate your Google Workspace if you change your mind in future. But don’t expect to have access to the same services.
